Velluto is a pre-consultation clinical intake platform for Australian GPs. It collects structured evidence from patients, observers, and documents before the consultation, delivering a scored clinical summary pack to the GP before the appointment. Watch it in action or see what it could add to your practice.

You have 45 minutes. 30 go to paperwork.

The gap nobody fills

When 30 minutes of a 45-minute session goes to chasing paperwork and phoning observers, the GP knows they are doing admin, not medicine. The preparation is what eats the hours.

Complex assessments need structured evidence collected before you see the patient. On paper, that means reception staff chasing forms by phone and multiple sessions spent on admin instead of medicine. Velluto fills that gap. Read how it works in our FAQ.

“2026 will go down as the year when GP ADHD care came of age in Australia.”

Associate Professor John Kramer, RACGP Chair

The reforms gave GPs permission. Velluto gives them preparation.

What changes

Three things happen before you say hello.

01

The patient is looked after

From the moment they book, patients are guided through their intake on their phone. One question at a time. Speech-to-text. Zero-loss autosave. No app. No login.

02

The evidence assembles itself

Observer reports, uploaded documents, medical history, validated questionnaires scored automatically. Velluto collects it all, chases what is missing, and flags inconsistencies.

03

You walk in prepared

A structured clinical summary with scored questionnaires, observer data, consistency checks, and a readiness score. Download the PDF. Attach to Best Practice. Done.

Our story

Two women in Agnes Water. One GP. One architect.

Dr Sandra Skinner is a specialist GP in Agnes Water, Queensland. She wanted to do ADHD assessments because of the close relationships she has with her patients. She knows their history, their families, their context. When the reforms opened prescribing rights to GPs, she welcomed it. But she could not see how to fit a thorough assessment into a day that was already full.

Fabienne Wintle has a Masters in Information and Communications Systems and nearly 30 years building intake systems across dozens of industries. She could not understand why nobody had built this for GPs. Together they built Velluto. Sandra shaped every clinical decision. Fabienne built the technology. Every feature exists because a GP who does this work every day said it had to.

“It saves me over 50 minutes of admin in the first appointment.”

High tech to be high touch. The technology does the preparation. The GP does the medicine. Read more on our blog.

How it works

You enter the details. Everything else is automatic.

Florence, Velluto’s pre-consultation agent, reaches out to the patient after booking. She gathers structured evidence from the patient, their observers, and their documents, and assembles everything into a clinical summary pack.

1

Patient intake

They complete it on their phone

You enter the patient’s details and appointment date. They receive a secure link. No app download, no login. They complete everything in their own time.

Validated questionnaires, one question at a time

Medical and mental health history

Supporting document upload

Speech-to-text for open questions

25 to 35 minutes, can be split across sittings
